Position Summary:

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for evolving and optimizing Apiture’s use of HubSpot in support of our marketing and sales goals. As a strategic member of the Marketing team, you’ll act as the primary administrator of our HubSpot instance and contact database, creating and maintaining workflows, custom fields, reports, and dashboards. You’ll also work closely with other members of Marketing to cultivate audience engagement, bringing templates and content to life in a way that grows and converts leads.

Success in this role will depend on effective collaboration with team members across Marketing, Business Development, Sales, and Sales Enablement and on the ability to balance multiple priorities. The right candidate is tech-savvy and is comfortable defining new processes in a fast-paced, startup environment.


Location (Wilmington, NC, EST Remote):
This role can be based out of our Wilmington, NC office or remote from the East Coast.



  • Optimize existing marketing automation and lead nurturing processes
  • Establish and evaluate landing pages and support automation of email campaigns
  • Establish and implement attribution and lead scoring processes
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards summarizing marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Oversee lead segmentation, list management, and data enrichment/database enhancement
  • Create, maintain, and deliver training, documentation, processes, and tools needed to support Business Development and New Sales team members’ use of HubSpot
  • Support additional marketing initiatives as needed, including webinars, intranet site, and event lead management


Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or commensurate industry experience
  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience; HubSpot expertise required
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for improving processes
  • Collaborative approach with ability to process feedback and explain technical elements to non-experts
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities under minimal supervision
