Are you a top-notch Web Engineer seeking to master surfing the wave of progressive web apps? Then consider joining Apiture’s Wilmington-based team. We have this crazy, thrill-seeking goal to revolutionize banking using serverless, cloud-based technologies, and we need a few wave riding Web Developers to help us unleash the power of our API’s.
At Apiture, we feel that the perfect UX design is attainable - much like the perfect wave - not a drop of water is out of place. For this role, you will work alongside our Web Development and UX Design teams who are racing to implement a sleek and functional banking app that any bank would want to surf. You will also be responsible for implementing a suite of client-side SDKs that enhance the power and simplicity of our APIs.

This role will be based out of our Wilmington, NC office, but consideration will be given to remote applicants based regionally as well.

 

Your Vibe:

  • Within the first 30 days, you will be up to speed with all requirements, taking (or collaborating on) wireframes from UX and turning them into reality.
  • Within the next 60 days, you have come to fully grasp the benefits of our JavaScript SDK and are actively contributing functionality to it, perhaps owning the entire project all-together.
  • Within the next 90 days, you’ll continue to help us refine our web offerings so that they align with our customer’s needs. You will have a strong background in consuming the Apiture APIs and therefore will be a key player in helping our customers implement their own banking solutions using our platform.

Your Composition:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate industry experience
  • Strong background in a variety of web frameworks such as Angular (preferred), React or Vue.JS.
  • Proven track record in building and/or designing world-class web applications that are both sleek and functional.
  • Solid knowledge of implementing object-oriented patterns with vanilla JavaScript and other transpilers, such as Typescript.
  • Prior experience building enterprise web applications, preferably within the banking space, but other relating industries a plus.
  • Familiarity with Serverless concepts and patterns.
  • Some experience both consuming and building client-side SDKs preferred.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and deployment to cloud platforms, such as AWS
