 Apiture, headquartered in Wilmington, NC, in conjunction with our Austin, TX team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced FinTech Management Consultant specializing in strategic design, metric management, workflow engineering, program management, change management, and technology expertise to serve our banking and credit union partners as they revolutionize their customer’s experiences.

We have this crazy, thrill-seeking goal to revolutionize banking, through an open architecture built natively for the next-generation of serverless, cloud-based technologies, providing financial customers infinite scalability, availability, and transparency.  Your Vibe:

  • Be engaged with customers delivering high value assessments, optimizations, and transitional changes
  • Be a member of Apiture’s professional services team and be empowered and enabled to lead, mentor, and guide our customers and partners to deliver to their customers high value results

Your Rhythm:

  • Report directly to the VP of Professional Services regarding program needs, project statuses, and other initiatives as defined
  • Serve as a professional services management consultant to our customer base of banks, credit unions, partners, and reseller
  • Ability to assess current state business workflows, technology stacks, metrics, and staffing with goal of developing strategic plans that are ROI focused
  • Ability to lead transformational changes within financial institutions focused on strategic objectives, ROI, and metrics
  • Development, delivery, and management of charters, statements of work, program plans, status reports, executive presentations, risk management, decision management, business workflow mapping, and other project documentation as needed
  • Develop, lead, and support the marketing efforts required to advance digital banking transformation
  • Develop, lead, and support, the business workflow current and future state documentation and training required to transform banking and credit union operational processes with the introduction of new technology
  • Ability to analyze contracts and develop transition plans
  • Ability to support, justify, and measure the fiscal opportunities related to technology improvements within financial institutions
  • Serve as a fintech subject matter expert for overall design and deployment of new and optimal solutions
  • Support and adhere to the requirements for compliance and other industry expectations related to integration and FDIC requirements
  • Collaborate and support implementation teams, engineering teams, product, and leadership across Apiture and all eco-system partners and 3rd party vendors
  • At times will be responsible for gathering client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation, project or conversion
  • As needed, the development, analysis and management of proactive reports, dashboards, and other data needs as needed by Apiture leadership
  • As needed, the leadership of or participation in special projects in alignment with overall departmental / company goals and expectations
  • Ability to demonstrate and deliver value in excess of client expectations
  • Ability to sell professional services and software solutions
  • Serve as a thought leader: ability to present and educate to customers and at trade shows; desire to educate and communicate via written word in blogs and industry specific forums
  • Think creatively and support the innovative transformation of implementations and professional services as it adapts with new customer needs, trends, and technology requirements
  • Enable others to act through coaching, support, mentoring, and feedback channels
  • Inspire a shared vision by thinking critically and creatively to adapt and prepare for future trends and industry changes
  • Challenge the process by always looking for creative solutions and how we can enhance the customer journey and improve their customer’s experience

Your Composition:

  • Prior banking or credit union experience required: 3-5 years preferred
  • Prior consulting experience required: 3-5 years preferred
  • Prior fintech experience preferred
  • Strong background in project & program management
  • Proven track record of successful financial technology deployments / or similar industry vertical with 5-7 years of experience
  •  Bachelors required
  • Masters preferred
  • Amazon Web Services, SalesForce, SQL, TaskRay, HTML, Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Excitement to travel
  • Bachelors degree preferred or commensurate industry experience
